About ISEB
International Society of Environmental Botanists (ISEB) was founded in the historic town
of Lucknow, India, on 3rd December 1994. It is a non-profit, non-governmental
organisation and since its inception has been actively engaged in promoting its
objectives, that is, research, education, and awareness on the role of plants in preserving
our environment.

- To promote and coordinate research on plants in relation to environmental pollution.
- To encourage better interaction among researchers, teachers, and social activists.
- To create awareness, especially among governmental policy makers and industry leaders.
